Rebecca & Patrick's Wedding

Rebecca & Patrick’s wedding day at the breathtaking Pendrell Hall; one of my favourite and regular wedding venues in the West Midlands. The romantic country house with 6 acres of gardens, make for incredible photo opportunities and an added bonus of perfect wedding photography weather, meant we could make the most of it.

This was a wedding I had been looking forward to capturing since being booked by the Bride & Groom, not only because of the venue, but also because Becky & Patrick are family, which makes being asked to capture their day, even more of a privilege.

The entire day, from the Bridal Prep to the Ceremony and Reception was all held at Pendrell Hall, meaning that it was a relaxed experience and gave me plenty of time to go between the Bride, Groom and guests.

The fact that I also know Becky & Patrick personally, meant they were at ease in front of the camera, giving us some great photo opportunities which have resulted in some really special photographs.

The day began in the ‘Love is Enough’ bridal suite with Becky, her 7 bridesmaids and 4 flower girls. There was plenty going on to keep me busy, but a few glasses of champagne helped to keep everyone relaxed and before we knew it, it was time for the ceremony in the ‘Morning Room’. With its big bay windows to let in plenty of natural light, making for the perfect setting to say their vows.

After the ceremony, the new Mr & Mrs Haden made the most of the amazing February weather by hosting an outside drinks reception in the grounds of Pendrell Hall, this gave me the chance to capture the formal photos as well as plenty of informal guest shots before it was time to whisk the Bride and Groom away to enjoy some time together as newly weds!

The photographs captured reflect the day perfectly, a happy day full of love and celebrations; Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Haden.

Rebekah & Ashley's Wedding

Rebekah and Ashley's wedding day saw me return to the fabulous Shustoke Farm Barns, one of my favourite Warwickshire wedding venues; with it's beautiful 18th Century redbrick buildings, dramatic timber framed interior and it's beautiful outside courtyard and surrounding fields, it always makes for incredible photo opportunities.

An added bonus was the amazing weather that we had which allowed for plenty of time outside to capture some truly stunning images of the Bride, Groom and their guests. They even managed to have an outdoor first dance in the courtyard with a live guitarist, Joe Seager, a real memorable moment of the day.

After capturing Rebekah and Ashleys engagement earlier in the year, they were practised naturals on the day, totally relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera which made my job very easy, definitely something which comes across in the photos.

Enjoy the below slideshow, i'm looking forward to returning to Shustoke very soon for another incredible day!

Lauren & Tom's Wedding Day

This was a wedding I'd been looking forward to capturing for a while now.

One of the first things I do when an enquiry lands in my inbox is check out the venue.  I have a look at past weddings, their instagram or facebook pages and start to get a feel for the type of shots we will be able to capture on the day.

So when Lauren & Tom contacted me last year to book me as their photographer for their day at Rowton Castle, I was blown away with the 17th Century Castle setting and the beautiful surrounding. And on the day, luck was on our side, the sun shone all day and for an April wedding, this really was an added bonus!

The day began in the on site Orchard Suite where Lauren and her Bridesmaids were getting ready with a few glasses of champagne on hand to steady any last minute nerves. There was a really great relaxed feel to the morning, which flowed through to the rest of the day and made for some fantastic photo opportunities.

After the ceremony, the new Mr & Mrs Pinkstone and guests made the most of the weather with an outside drinks reception with Rowton's new outside Bar 97, featuring a vast array of botanical gins, craft beers and whiskies. It's at times like these I wish I was a guest and not at work!

The rest of the day went smoothly, allowing me to blend into the background and capture all those special moments naturally. I had a great time at Rowton Castle and can't wait to get back there, if not as a photographer at least as a guest as I'll be attending a Christmas Wedding there, later this year!

Gemma & Paul's Wedding

After first meeting Gemma & Paul earlier this year for their engagement shoot, I had been looking forward to capturing their Wedding Day at the stunning Sandon Hall in Stafford and definitely wasn't disappointed.
The couple were comfortable infront of the lens and brought many of their own ideas of what sort of shots they wanted me to capture. The venue, beautiful dress and energetic wedding party, only added to the mix of what turned out to be a day full of love and laughter.

Whilst Gemma & Paul's wedding had a traditional feel running throughout the day, they managed to break the mould by adding their own unique twists, letting their personalities shine through; from the wedding cake, to Gemma's shoes and of course not forgetting the CAT Excavator which was parked outside the venue.

I really enjoyed capturing this couples journey from Engagement to Wedding Day and I hope you like your preview below, im holding back on the CAT photos for now... you'll have to wait just a little bit longer for those!

Mayfield Lavender Fields - Engagement Session

Last weekend saw a visit to Mayfields Lavender fields, Surrey, for Danielle & Dan's engagement shoot.

We were joined by their lovely little girl and the family dog who had made a special effort for the occasion, wearing her favourite pearl necklace.  It was a fun and informal shoot with the beautiful Lavendar backdrop, which is well worth a visit if in the area!

Here are a few sneak peaks from the session.. looking forward to sharing the finished article in the near future and of course to their Wedding Day at Froyle Park, in November... my last wedding of 2017!
